I worry daily about the impact that the newest wave of vulgar song lyrics will have on our youth. Will girls be taught that they deserve to have bodily autotomy? That their sexual needs are as important as men's? I shudder to think so.

Living a Christian life is not without its fair share of difficulties. Don't we deserve something as simple as an un-politicized message from God? My pastor said that God sent a rainbow after the flood to remind us of his love, I think.

A friend of mine recently called me up to complain about her rent being hiked up, in the middle of a pandemic "crisis" (don't even get me started, God is protecting his children better than masks ever could).

I loathe the term "Karen". I think it is racism, pure and simple-even though I myself frequently use loaded language, such as "thug" or "hoodlum" to describe people of color, with no reservations or concern about the historically bigoted use of these types of terms.

There seems to be a lot of racial tension in the world these days. Can't we all just get along? #LoveMattersMost.

If I want to wear my hair in certain types of braids or hairstyles, why should I have to feel guilty? I can just undo these and then be right back to the socially-accepted, Western-centric beauty norm, without having to face any type of discrimination, even momentarily. Jealousy is really ugly.
