Date Night Idea: A Walk Down Memory Lane

10/23/2020

Keeping things exciting after years and years of marriage can be a challenge. Greg is often very tired and exhausted from his job and post-work golfing and social outing sessions and it is my duty as his wife to handle the emotional and logistical workload at home, which is why I delegate most tasks to my assistants, Tatia and Boxey. But even so, I struggle at times. #NoShame

One fun way to mix up your romance is to plan a special night at home with your hubby while the nannies entertain your little ones elsewhere. Take turns celebrating your relationship by bringing out old pictures and mementos. Make sure you remind your special someone to prepare something on his end too.

You can even whip out question cards that help you both to examine what made sparks fly way back when. Talk about your first date. Try to remember what your conversation was about! What made your heart flutter? Don't be afraid to let things get heated, either.

Oh and if he isn't into it, it's probably because of something you did. But the good news is that you can just smile and gloss over his disinterest while you post online about how incredibly rewarding and fantastic it was to spend this special evening together.

Solidify your reputation as a "happy couple", no matter what the reality is.
